Peking Opera

A traditional form of art in China.

I wanted to write about it for a long time. However, my knowledge might be limited to articulate systematically the art itself. I would suggest u try the link of the picture above or search "Peking Opera" on the web.

What I want to express is a kind of feeling.

Peking opera might seem to be an over-ampification of the conveyed message to its audiance, with the painted masks, clothing, costume, which exaggerate the expression to an "deformed" extent. Yet it is far from "painting everything to a colorful mess":

Its story mainly originates from history, heros fighting in war, girls chatting in the garden, kings and aristocrats discussing on politics, judges finding the murderer...The attractiveness can keep the viewer absorbed for a long time.
